Our farm houseis and has always been a welcoming place for those who like to spend their holidayswith their COMPLETE family. As a matter of fact, thanks to numerous apartments with private and fenced gardens, to a very pleasant summer breeze, to the fact that there are no forbidden areas for dogs, and to our proximity to 'dog-friendly'beaches, our shaggy guests can benefit from a pleasant holiday as much as their owners.

The three closest dog beaches are:

SAN VINCENZO: DOG BEACH – it can be used as a free beach but it is also possible to rent sun umbrellas, deck chairs, sun beds, etc. It is only a 5 min. drive from our farm house (about 5 kms). Web-site: www.dog-beach.it It is possible to obtain a 10% discount through a card that you can buy at the Dog Beach (cost: 5 euros).

BARATTI: free beach for dogs. It is not the most beautiful one but it is located in one of the most impressive natural and historicalplaces in Tuscany. Distance from us: 10 min. drive, about 13 kms.

PIOMBINO: PASCIA' BEACH: lovely private beach where dogs and humans are spoiled by the beach owners in a very clear beach with limpid waters. Distance from us: 15 min. drive, about 18 kms. Web-site: www.pascia.biz Discount for our guests: 10%, except August.

Upon your arrival we will give you a list of behavior requirements for your pets. We have prepared these recommendations for youto guarantee a pleasant stay for everyone,and we will ask you to read and to sign it. You can also read it here below, andwe are sure that there you will find answers to many of your questions. We created, for many of our apartments and rooms, fenced private courts or gardens,so that dogs or other animals can have spaces to stay free of leashes. Nonetheless, in order to guarantee to all guests a pleasant stay and in order to preserve the life of our farmyard animals, we wrote a list of precautions that we kindly ask you to follow.

SWIMMING-POOL :We kindly ask you to use the gardens around the swimming pool instead of the fire-brick pavement and to clean the grass in case of defecation of your dog/s. Here, they will be able to relax with you, thanks to the freshness of the grass, and people will benefit from a clean environment. As a matter of fact, the gardens around the swimming pool are often used without shoes.

BREAKFAST ROOM: Your animals, if well mannered, can stay with you also inside the breakfast room, on the leashand close to your table.

RESTAURANT: Same requirements that we gave for the breakfast room, but in this case please tell us when you book the table fordinner, so that we can assign the most appropriate table for you and mostly for the needs of your animal (shade, grass, freshness, tranquility, etc.)

ATMOSPHERE: Sometimes we welcome dog ownerswhoseem to be kind of traumatized from previous experiences, as if they had the feeling that they wouldbe disturbing to othersbecause they havecome on holiday with their animal/s. Please do not feel like this, well-mannered animals give most humans the same positive feeling that children grant: happiness and tranquility. It is a pleasure for us to accommodate them, it is not a burden.

SPECIAL RECOMMENDATIONS:
* When out of the apartment's private space dogs always have to be kept on a leash. This recommendation is valid also for walks in the country, unless you are very distant from the farmhousebuildings. If you have the need to let your dog free, ask Serena which is the best area for this purpose. Nonetheless, this can only be possible if you are sure that the situation will always be in your hands, if you know that you have a well-trained dog that will obey you when you call it. Almost all dogs are childish and joyous, easily excitable. It happens quite often that if they find themselves free close to the buildings, where our cats and farmyardanimals walk around carefree, they will not hold backthe temptation to have some real fun and they will become deaf to their owner'spleas. If you are not completely sure that you can hold your dog in any moment and keep it where you are, it willbe better to choose a serene walk on the leash in the country, than to let them run wild on the beach.

* It is necessary, in order to grant clean open spaces to everyone, that dogs owners clean their animals excrementsinside private spaces and outside of them.

* It is also important, in order to grant a pleasant stay to everybody, to do one's best to avoid barking, especially in resting hours, like morning, early evening and night.
