TERRITORY AND LOCATION
What is the distance from the beach?
We are 3.5 km from the beach and from downtown.
How's the beach? Sandy or rocky?
Our beaches are almost all sandy. Those who want rocks will have to ask us where to go. There are a few, beautiful rocky beaches that would be worth visiting.
Are there free beaches?
Yes, there are several free beaches. One of them is the beautiful Rimigliano Park, with hundreds of acres of clean and well-equipped spaces. There are free beaches also in the central part of the town, all along the city's coastline.
Do you have a private beach?
We have agreements with private beaches, to give a convenient answer to any kind of request.
Can we go to the beach by bike?
We are close to the beach and, in theory, it could be possible, but it is important to consider that we are 120 mt above sea level, and you would have to ride 2 kms uphill to come back to the farm house. This is not easy under a summer sun.
Is it difficult to find a parking place at the beach or in the city center?
It depends on the month. In July and August it is not a problem during the week. On weekends it is advisable to go to the beach before 10, when it is easier to find a place to park. Anyway, this only applies to the more central areas, and there are also great places to go to the beach where there are not big problems with parking. Downtown there are many private parking spaces, so that in case you do not find a free parking lot, you can park anyway. We will give you all the necessary information about it once you are here.
How far is the Agriturismo from the closest shops?
The closest shops (butcher, monger, bakery, groceries, winery, etc.) are only 2 kms from the farm house, while the COOP supermarket is 3,5 kms away and the EKOM (discount) is 2,5 kms away. From the pedestrian central road we are located at a 2,5 kms distance by air, but 3,5 kms by car.
Which are the closest airports and train station?
The closest airport is PISA (1h by car). In addition there are FLORENCE (1,5h by car), BOLOGNA and ROME (2,5h by car). The closest train station is in San Vincenzo and it is 3kms from the Agriturismo.
What is worth visiting in your territory?
There many interesting things to see close to the Agriturismo: medieval towns, parks, hot springs, mineral and archeological sites, beaches, etc. If you go a bit farther from San Vincenzo you can also visit beautiful cities with world famous art: VOLTERRA (1h), FLORENCE (1,5h), SIENA (1,5h), ROME (2,5h), LUCCA (1h) and many more. BREAKFAST AND RESTAURANT SERVICE
Is breakfast service included in the price? Can we pay less if we do not require breakfast?
Yes, it is included and it is not possible to deduct its price from the total.
Can you answer to the needs of people with celiac disease or other food intolerances?
Yes, we can absolutely respond well to their needs when we are informed ahead of time.
Is it possible to have a HB or FB service?
The Half Board service or Full Board service is available all year, with the exception of the following period: from beginning of June to half of September (please ask for exact dates). In this period you can use the restaurant with à la carte service. The restaurant, in this period, is open every day but only for dinner.
What's the price of the restaurant?
Obviously, the price of an à la carte dinner is different from one person to another but, to give you an idea, pastas and starters cost around 9/10 euros. Meat prices differ more from one dish to another since you can order grilled chicken breast but also a Fiorentina (thick beef steak). Let's say that the MEDIUM cost of an adult dinner is about 30 euros.
What can we eat in your restaurant?
We are well known for our grilled meats and fresh, homemade pasta. Nonetheless, if we are told, we can respond well to the needs of vegetarians and vegans.
I have a little child. Is there something that he/she can also eat?
Our dishes are prepared with fresh products and at the moment they are ordered. For this reason they are also good for children. Moreover, for the very little ones, we can prepare vegetable broth, boiled minced meat, or anything else requested by parents.
I prefer to eat at my private apartment but I do not want to cook. Is it possible to take away meals?
Yes, it is possible to choose your dinner from the menu and then take it home.

Are the apartments equipped with air conditioning?
No, but fortunately we live 120 mts above sea level in a coastal location. There is never an oppressive heat and, on the contrary, there is usually a very pleasant breeze.
Do the apartments have equipped kitchens?
Ja, unsere Küchen sind mit Geschirr und Töpfen bzw. Pfannen ausgestattet. Einige, aber nicht alle, haben einen Backofen. Wir stellen auch Tischtücher und Geschirrtücher zur Verfügung, aber keine Topflappen, keine Spülschwämme und keine Spülmittel.
Is the garden of the apartment a fenced one?
Yes, all apartments' private gardens are fenced. Nonetheless, only one apartment has a very high fence: LECCIO.
Do you have farm animals that children can watch?
Yes, we have several farm animals (donkeys, ponies, etc.) that children can watch and feed during their walks.
Are my children allowed to ride the Agriturismo's ponies?
No, it is not possible to ride them. They are kept in a big fenced field. They will approach you when they see you, hoping in for some little gift :o)
Are there areas suitable for children in the Agriturismo?
Our Agriturismo has large and clean gardens, where children can play safely. One of these gardens is equipped with a play area (swing, carousel, slide, castle), another one with games hanging from high trees (rings, swing, climbing rope, stairs, etc.). In the breakfast room there is a space all for them, with soft pillows and Winnie the Pooh wall drawings.
Are bathrooms supplied with hair dryers and welcome products (shampoo etc.)?
In your apartment's bathroom you will find a hair dryer and soap and shampoo for sink and shower.
What is the difference between standard and superior apartments?
Our standard apartments were the first ones to be built. We try to keep them as well as possible but, obviously, the methods and materials and ideas used to build them are not the same as the ones of the 2003 or 2007 apartments. These last ones are newer, ALL have at least one terrace, at least one private garden, and a view of the sea. The superiors are not necessarily bigger than the standards.

RESERVIERUNG
How do we book?
It is necessary to fill in the booking form that you will find on this web site at BOOKING/INFORMATION. Once we receive your form, we will answer with a booking voucher and prepayment request. The prepayment requested at booking is 30% of the total. The rest is to be paid at the end of your holiday.
Is it possible to pay with credit card?
Yes, both advance payment and final payment can be paid with VISA, MASTERCARD or MAESTRO circuit cards.
What happens if I have to cancel my booking?
Please read our CANCELLATION POLICY on the PRICES page of this web site. As you will see, it is possible to reuse the advance payment for a future stay only if the cancellation arrives at least two weeks before the beginning of the holiday. This is the rule. The truth is that, if we succeed anyhow in renting the apartment without being obliged to make LAST MINUTE offers, we will allow you to use the prepayment for a future stay, until the end of the following year.
